Merlin is a 6 month old pup who has defined a lot of odds. Despite his disability, Merlin loves to play. He wrestles with his foster dogs. He is learning how to play fetch. He is a constant ball energy who doesn't know that his back legs don't work properly.
Merlin is a cuddle bug when he isn't running around with the others. He thinks he is a lap dog. Merlin is also a bit shy when it comes to humans. When his foster home has visitors, Merlin will run off to hide.

Merlin is kennel trained. He will do best in a home with other dogs around. He will need a home that will be patient and tender towards him. He is also still a puppy, so he'll need continued patience with that as well. With a little patience, love, and tenderness. This little ball of lovable energy will become an incredible dog.
If you think Merlin is the right fit for you. Reach out to B.R.A.T for more information.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Mazy Missios- X-rays show multiple joints with issues and possibly some neurological. They said their orthopedic surgeon will need to review the X-rays and consult on whether there is anything they can do to fix the issues. Dr Davidson Orthopedic surgeon Hips and knees aren’t properly connected. His knee caps are floating and not holding the ligaments (or tendons?) in place properly. Also likely some neurological issues that might stem from nerves being pinched from the weird joints. 2 nd referral ( Blue pearl) they’ll send a full recap with referrals to the rescue email: The doctor said he definitely has some neurological deficiencies but she doesn’t think imaging is the right recommendation. She thinks it’s likely a result of the orthopedic issues. She said he definitely has significant ortho issues and recommends a second opinion on that side (they don’t have an ortho specialist at BluePearl).
